LLMC Directions

Driving directions to SIU's Engineering building (1230 Lincoln Drive)

FROM THE NORTH
Follow Route 51 South through Carbondale (stay in the right furthermost lane) until you reach Lincoln Drive. Make a right turn onto Lincoln Drive and continue past the Student Center. Engineering will then be on your left just past the curve. Free parking is located in several areas. Please see the map for exact lots.

FROM THE SOUTH
Follow Route 51 North to Carbondale and stay in the left lane until you reach Lincoln Drive. Make a left turn onto Lincoln Drive and continue past the Student Center. Engineering will then be on your left just past the curve. Free parking is located in several areas. Please see the map for exact lots.

FROM THE EAST
Follow Route 13 West into Carbondale. Once in Carbondale, turn left (South) at the 3rd stoplight, which is Lewis Lane. Keep straight. When you come to the second stop sign, turn right (West) onto E. Grand Avenue. Continue on E. Grand Avenue until you cross the railroad tracks and come to a T. Turn left (South) on Illinois Avenue (Route 51 S). At the next stoplight you come to, make a right turn onto Lincoln Drive. Continue past the Student Center. Engineering will then be on your left just past the curve. FROM THE WEST
Follow Route 13 East into Carbondale and stay in the right lane until you come to Highway 51 South (also University Avenue). Make a right turn onto highway 51 South and stay in the right lane. At the 4th stoplight you come to, make a right turn onto Lincoln Drive. Continue past the Student Center. Engineering will then be on your left just past the curve. Flying Directions

If you are traveling by air, you may fly to either St Louis or Marion Airport. If you fly into St Louis you will have to arrange a rental car or connecting flight to Marion Airport.

From Marion, IL, you may take a cab or Uber to your hotel.


Building Directions

Talks are held in the Engineering building. Rooms will be posted as soon as available.

Transportation will be provided to and from the hotel to the conference site.
